Myofrastand Inc was founded in 2009 and operates in Rockleigh, NJ. We are a contract research organization that offers quantitative analysis in digital pathology. Our goal is to reduce time and expense with quantitative diagnostic processes and to provide pathologists and researchers with reliable, accurate and unbiased results.
Myofrastand’s services were designed to overcome the problems inherent in subjective analysis in routine quantitative pathology and diagnostic decision. We provide objective histopathology analysis of human and animal samples to determine the diagnosis and prognostic features. Our staff scientists and PhDs are committed to combining the most effective technologies, innovative designs, and production methodologies to quantify and measure biological structures. Myofrastand actively shapes the way that scientists and pathologists process and analyze microscopic images.
Our team is comprised of experienced pathologists and biomedical researchers with expertise in stereology, experimental pathology and human pathology. We also have software engineers specialized in image analysis and digital signal processing. The team also includes a professional trained in pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs.

Where to start?
We will set up an initial conference call with our stereologist to discuss the nature of your samples (human, animal, tissue type, disease) and the type of work required (histopathology diagnostic, forensic analysis, scientific project). Through our discussions, we will create an in-depth profile of the biology of the samples and the quantitative parameters you want to be extracted.
How does Myofrastand’s process work?
Using your sample, we will develop a specific procedure of morphometry or stereology to quantify or measure the desired object(s) in the image. This takes on average two to five days, depending on workload and on the complexity of the biological problem. As we complete the quantitative analysis, we will provide you with the image analysis and data set in order to interpret the results and reach the final conclusion with your approval.

In our initial call, we will provide you with a detailed assessment of the cost of your analysis, based on the number of samples and scope of your work. A substantial discount will be given to pathologists and doctors with large batches of slides, and researchers with long-term goal projects from NIH.
